My signature protein smoothie

This is my go-to smoothie for breakfast most mornings. It is full of nutrients, protein and fibre to fuel me after my morning workouts and keep me full and satiated well in to the morning.

Ingredients:ย 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries (I love to use blueberries and raspberries)
  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • 1 scoop of natural protein powder (I use PranaON, either vanilla or chocolate flavour)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husks
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of almond milk

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend together until well combined and it has reached your desired consistency (I love mine thick and creamy).
  2. Pour into a drinking glass or bowl, top with your choice of gluten free granola, goji berries, coconut, cacao nibs, banana, berries, seeds and enjoy!!
