Choc-Nutty Bliss Balls

Choc nutty bliss balls

These bliss balls were the result of a serious craving for a blend of chocolate and peanut butter on a Sunday afternoon. They are so delicious, super nourishing and packed with protein to keep you energised and satiated until your next meal time. I like to enjoy one or two as an afternoon snack. They also taste super delicious smashed over some greek yoghurt and strawberries.. YUM! I hope you love them as much as I do!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted and chopped
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 tbsp natural crunchy peanut butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 serve chocolate protein powder ( I use Prana powder plant protein)
4 tbsp warm filtered water

Method:

  1. Place almonds, coconut, and chia seeds into a food processor and pulse until nuts are roughly chopped.
  2. Add all other ingredients to the food processor and process until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out mixture and roll into balls, coat in extra desiccated coconut if desired and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7-10 days.
